Values Exercise

Values are fundamental ideals and principles that are important to you, and only to you.

They may change over time; with some becoming more or less important depending on your situation, but combined, they form a personal code that motivates and guides your attitudes and actions in all areas of life.

Values are not inherently right or wrong, good, or bad.

Values are not something you feel you should have.

They are already a part of you and are the beliefs that make you who you are.

How well do you know your values?

How well do you know your values and what’s important to you?

Could you state your values without having to stop and think about them?

My Values Exercise helps you identify and articulate your personal values.

You’ll choose the words that most closely represent your top values and think about how you define them.

You’ll then determine ways to honour them in your daily life.

I want you to to see yourself as the wonderful whole-hearted human that you are, and give yourself permission to not be perfect, and be true to yourself.
